HeMI Study Buddies, designed to help two learners per grade (Grades 8-12) practice question papers and study effectively from Monday to Thursday.
MI Study Buddies: Weekly Study & Question Paper Practice Plan
Objective
To help learners from Grades 8-12 improve their academic performance through structured question paper practice, discussions, and review sessions.
Daily Schedule (Monday to Thursday)
Each session will last 1.5 to 2 hours and follow a structured format:
1. Warm-up & Review (15 minutes)
- Quick recap of previous session’s key concepts.
- Discussion on difficult areas from past papers.
- Set personal goals for the session.
2. Question Paper Practice (45 minutes)
- Select past exam questions related to the week’s syllabus.
- Solve questions individually (with a timer for exam conditions).
- One learner explains their approach while the other gives feedback.
- Alternate roles to ensure both learners participate actively.
3. Group Discussion & Corrections (30 minutes)
- Compare answers and discuss different approaches.
- Identify common mistakes and how to avoid them.
- Review marking schemes and learn how to structure answers.
4. Concept Mastery & Notes Summary (30 minutes)
- Revise core concepts related to the practice questions.
- Take turns summarizing key points and creating flashcards or quick notes.
- Discuss study techniques and memorization tips.

Mi Study Buddies Program Requirements for Admission
To maintain the highest academic standards and ensure learners maximize their potential, Mi Study Buddies has set the following admission criteria:
1. Academic Performance
- A minimum of 75% average in core subjects (Mathematics, Science, and English).
- Strong commitment to improving performance to meet or exceed the program’s 99% target.
2. Commitment & Discipline
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Consistent attendance (Monday–Thursday sessions are mandatory).
- Adherence to program rules and respect for tutors and fellow learners.
3. Assessment & Selection
- Completion of an entrance assessmen to evaluate subject proficiency.
- A shortintervie to assess motivation and willingness to commit.
- Submission of the latest academic report for review.
4. Parental Involvement
- Parents must attend scheduled meetings and be actively involved in the learner’s progress.
- Agreement to provide a supportive home learning environment (homework completion, study time, etc.).
5. Learning Materials & Preparedness
- Learners must have the necessary study materials (notebooks, stationery, calculator, etc.).
- Readiness to participate in weekly assessments and mock exams.
Failure to meet these standards may result in probation or removal from the program. The goal is to foster a disciplined, high-performance learning environment where every learner excels.
